The Social and Ethics Committee assists the Board in the following matters: - Monitoring the Company's activities with regard to social and economic development; good corporate citizenship; the environment, health and public safety; consumer relationships; and labour and employment; - Drawing matters within its mandate to the attention of the Board as the occasion requires; - Ensuring that the Company's ethics are managed effectively; and - Reporting to the shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting on the matters within its mandate. [...] The Social and Ethics Committee discharged the functions ascribed to it in terms of the Companies Act. It also complied in all material respects with its mandate and the responsibilities prescribed in its charter.
