Our Sustainability and Diversity Committee (formerly the Sustainability Committee) comprises experienced members who meet to discuss reporting and performance evaluation, amongst other things, at least twice a year. They report to the BOD and advise, inform, and guide management on key focus areas (such as climate change, diversity, human rights), and performance and targets for the Group. In 2023, the Committee's name was redefined to reflect the Group's focus on advancing diversity with dedicated programs across the organization. The Committee is chaired by the President Director and cochaired by the Director of Sustainability; both are members of the Board of Directors. The Director of Sustainability oversees the strategic direction of all sustainability policies together with the Director of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and the Director of External Relations. The daily implementation of Harita Nickel's sustainability values is managed by executives across four main divisions: our Sustainability and Internal Control departments oversee policy progress, and the HSE and External Relations (including Community Development and Land Acquisition) divisions implement policy on the ground. Sustainability-related targets are set by each department and overseen by the Board of Directors.
