Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]Our climate change strategy is communicated and controlled via Group governance, specifically our Group Net Zero Committee (GNZC), with escalation into Responsible Business Committee (RBC) as required. Members of the GNZC include representatives from each area of the Group and include Group Corporate Affairs (GCA). This enables two-way communication and discussion between each area of the Group and GPA to ensure alignment of our engagement activities with our strategy. GPA also work with the business to coordinate our engagement strategy and typically have direct representation from business areas involved in engagements alongside GPA. Our public policy campaign activity is tracked through GNZC with regular deep dives on engagement activity across specific sectors. Where we are members of other organisations, and where these organisations explicitly ask us to support a particular policy position or proposal, that request is reviewed at Director level of the relevant business areas with approval obtained by the level of signatory required, e.g. Group Director or CEO.
