Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]i) SBT Development Support Project by the Ministry of the Environment
Controlling greenhouse gas emissions is considered as the key in Glory's climate change strategy. Along with the strategy, we have participated in the Ministry of the Environment's SBT Development Support Project and the Supply Chain Emission Assessment Support Project, which enabled us to visualize our CO2 reduction scenario to be considered in the Long-Term Environmental Plan.
ii) Green Value Chain Platform by the Ministry of the Environment
We note the importance to visualize and control greenhouse gas emissions during our product life cycle, and proactively disclose such information. In the past, we have participated in the Environmental Reporting Platform Project and used the ESG Dialogue Platform by the Ministry of the Environment, and have used the Green Value Chain Platform since FY2014 for our information disclosure. As confirmed through the communications with our stakeholders, the Green Value Chain Platform is a useful tool to complement the disclosure made on Glory's website and integrated reports, and is consistent with Glory's climate change strategy.
- The General Affairs Division, which serves as the office for the Environmental Committee in charge of environmental strategy planning, is the point of contact for all involved to ensure all initiatives and/or activities are aligned with Glory's climate change strategy.
