Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…] Climate change-related policies are positioned as internal and external issues, needs and expectations of stakeholders, and risks and opportunities in the approach to identifying issues to be addressed in our management system, and then incorporated into specific environmental measures.
These measures are shared by the Corporate Planning Department through our Sustainability Strategy Committee to each of our planning divisions and their respective planning departments at our head office (6 organizations), controlling organization (1 organization), and local organizations (15 organizations).
Each organization then confirms whether their engagement activities are in line with our climate change strategy or not, and reports the results to the Corporate Planning Department.
Through this process, we ensure that our policy engagement do not conflict with our climate change strategy across multiple business units and regions.
