Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]In order to maintain consistency between the corporation-wide climate change strategy and engagement activities, the corporation carries out performance management based on the PDCA Cycle, centred on the Carbon Management Committee. Carbon-Neutral action tasks are identified for each and whole value chain, and a five-year implementation plan and performance indicators are set for each key task. The performance and deficiencies of each key task are regularly inspected, and the head of each division holds meetings from time to time and reports the inspection results to the Committee twice a year. In addition, "the Carbon Management Strategy Action Plan† is revised and supplemented every February, by reflecting the inspection results. Meanwhile, apart from the key tasks, additional tasks and branch specialization projects are additionally identified and reflected in the business plan and linked with internal evaluation, in order to establish the parent/subsidiary cooperation system. Carbon-neutral activities and performance are disclosed every year through ESG reports, to various stakeholders including customers, shareholders, government, business partners, and local communities.
