Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]Publicis Groupe is committed to SBti, and a member or signatory of several organizations such as the United Nations Global Compact, Business Ambition for 1.5° in support of the efforts of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The Groupe voluntary follows the TCFD recommendations and participates in different inter-company initiatives as a member of economic organizations such as in France through the MEDEF and the French Business Climate Pledge. We are signatory of the latter. It is a voluntary commitment for company based in France that shows the diversity of solution they adopt to make real the transition to a low-carbon future regardless of the size and activities of the company to meet the Paris Agreement objectives (1,5°C scenario).
Publicis Groupe is also involved in the sectoral professional organization and associations to which the Groups and its agencies belong. In France, AACC with UDECAM, IAB France and ARPP, alongside advertisers, have begun to draw up a trajectory, with best practices and tools to be deployed in order to achieve carbon neutrality. It is the case of Publicis UK which is a founding member of AdGreen and member of the inter-professional organization active in different project of which occurred the creation of AdZeroNet association to steer action to combat climate change
