Sustainability Governance Tata kelola Keberlanjutan
At TBIG, the management and implementation of all sustainability-related programs is overseen by the Sustainability and ESG Committee established under the Board of Commissioners. The day-to-day management of sustainability initiatives is managed by the Company's Chief of Risk, who is supported by the Corporate Secretary and Investor Relations Division. Collectively, these functions oversee stakeholder engagement and integrate ESG factors into all operations.
LEADERSHIP COMMITMENT
Our Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") Department monitors and evaluates the range of community programs TBIG is involved in, reporting directly to the Business Support Directorate on our engagement impact.
In 2023, we further deepened our commitment to sustainability by expanding sustainability governance. A Sustainability and ESG Committee was established, which steers our overall sustainability strategy. The Committee oversees the implementation of all sustainability-related programs in TBIG and ensures that these initiatives address our material ESG issues such as greenhouse gas emissions, diversity, equity and inclusion, climate-related risks, and human rights. To maintain transparency and accountability, the Committee reports to the Board of Commissioners and the Board of Directors at least once every 6 months, who provide leadership at the highest level to address and resolve sustainability challenges. To equip our Board of Commissioners with the necessary expertise for effective oversight, they underwent sustainability-related training programs in 2023. The training focused on key sustainability areas such as prevention of greenwashing and modern slavery, integration of human rights principles into company's practices, and effective risk management and governance relating to anti-fraud. This allows the Board to foster a deeper understanding of complex sustainability issues and its impacts on TBIG, to better support the Company's strategic vision. By centralizing oversight in this committee, we believe that sustainability will become an organization-wide priority rather than a siloed function.
