Avolta AG’s disclosures focus extensively on sustainability governance rather than lobbying processes: “The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing Avolta’s Sustainability strategy and its effective implementation, including climate-related initiatives,” and within the Board, “the ESG Committee … drives the Company’s sustainability agenda” through regular meetings. At the operational level, “The Chief Public Affairs & ESG Officer, reporting to the Group CEO, represents sustainability at the Global Executive Committee level and leads the execution of Avolta’s Sustainability strategy,” while the Global Sustainability team works with the ERM team “to develop frameworks for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting climate-related risks and opportunities.” However, we found no evidence of any governance framework for lobbying—there is no mention of oversight of direct or indirect lobbying activities, no processes described for aligning lobbying with the company’s climate positions, and no named individual or committee tasked specifically with reviewing or managing lobbying alignment.
