Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]Target and action plan of JPMA (Japan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association) are formulated after taking into account the policy of government of Japan and will be revised in accordance with the change of policy. As a member of JPMA, Eisai Co., Ltd.'s target and action plan for climate change is formulated based on those of JPMA.
Through the progress report from JPMA, Eisai Co., Ltd. is able to confirm if JPMA's initiatives are consistent with Eisai's climate change measurement strategy. After JPMA members of Eisai receive relevant information, they review and share it at the Company-Wide Environment and Safety Committee. The committee members discuss Eisai's strategy based on the information, and amend it when needed.
