They also promote awareness about the latest developments in the CGD industry and disseminate knowledge amongst its members and general public regarding such development. They also make representations to various authorities taking into consideration the common concerns of the CGD entities and also provide common platform for exchange of different ideas to innovate and adopt best practices. They also undertake studies to evolve best practices for the industry. CII being a national body, takes up various initiatives of public good from time to time. GGL supports such initiatives.
