Derichebourg SA’s climate-change governance is built around its Group CSR Committee, set up in 2018, which “is chaired by our CSR head manager” and whose permanent members include “CSR Head Manager, HR Head Manager, Chief administrative officer, CFO and QHSE Head Manager.” This committee “meets at least twice a year” to “validate strategic decisions relating to the CSR road map, monitor developments and adjust its priorities in line with changes in the company’s operating environment,” and its work is reported to the executive committee, which “is reunited five times a year” where “our CSR Head Manager reports our actions according to … our goals and our road map but also all the related climate issues.” However, we found no evidence of any governance processes for directing or monitoring lobbying activities—no disclosure of how direct or indirect lobbying is aligned with its climate commitments, nor any named individual or body overseeing such policy engagement.
