The CSR Committee was taken a step further in October 2021 to establish the Sustainability Promotion Committee. The Committee will take the lead in analyzing and tracking the progress of issues to solve them through business activities and social contribution activities. First, the Committee organized the issues to address related to sustainability, ensuring a common understanding of the challenges ahead of improving our corporate value over the medium to long term. Then, in terms of individual topics, the Committee discussed and made decisions relating to the formulation of a set of supply chain guidelines, our response to systems related to the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), initiatives for emissions trading, etc.
