Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]JEITA(Japan Electronics and Information Technonlogy Indutries Association) we have participated has set 2030 target for climate change at the request of Japan government and Federation of Japan Economic Organizations. We have also set a target for 2030 in line wih this goal. In order to achieve the targets, the environmental department formulates measures, is deliberated by the environmental promotion meeting, and then approved by the officer in charge of the environment. The result of the deliverations are reported th the board of directors.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]In September 2022, Alps Alpine joined the Japan Climate Leaders' Partnership (JCLP), a corporate group that aims to realize a sustainable, decarbonized society. The purpose of JCLP is to "achieve the 1.5°C target by realizing a rapid transition to a decarbonized society to avoid the climate crisis," which is consistent with our goals. With the support of JCLP, we joined the RE100 Initiative.
