VGI PCL outlines its corporate governance structure for climate issues, noting that "The Board of Directors oversees the climate related issues" and that "The Sustainability Committee and the Risk Management Committee are entrusted with the responsibility of formulating the company's climate strategy, assessing climate related risks and opportunities, and presenting their recommendations to the Board of Directors for consideration and approval." It further states that "The Sustainability Working Team actively monitors climate reporting to ensure that the current disclosure practices align with industry-leading standards." However, we found no evidence of any governance processes, oversight mechanisms, or named roles specifically dedicated to managing or aligning the company’s lobbying activities, including climate-related lobbying efforts, nor any mention of direct or indirect lobbying channels or trade association engagement.
