BorgWarner's Government Affairs department oversees lobbying activities, communications with public officials, and memberships with trade associations and other tax-exempt organizations. The department ensures lobbying compliance through a third-party verification process. BorgWarner complies with all laws governing our employees and their interactions with government officials in accordance with BorgWarner's code of conduct. We communicate our company's position on emerging sustainability and climate change-related topics, and in doing so are able to assess alignment of the trade associations with which we engage. As we actively work towards setting a science-based target, BorgWarner is also ensuring that our engagement with trade associations is in alignment with and will help us advance that goal.
