Agora SA discloses no internal governance process for its lobbying or policy engagement activities and does not commit to aligning engagement with climate goals. Its public reports, such as the “Summary of Agora Group's ESG activities in 2023,” and press releases highlighting that “Gazeta Wyborcza publishes its Climate Declaration” make no reference to any oversight, review procedures, or alignment mechanisms for direct or indirect lobbying. When asked “Does your organization have a public commitment or position statement to conduct your engagement activities in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement?[…]No, and we do not plan to have one in the next two years,” the company confirmed it has no such policy. We found no evidence of a designated individual or formal body responsible for overseeing lobbying, any process for monitoring alignment of lobbying with its policies, or criteria for participating in or exiting trade associations based on climate policy positions.
