*Loeb:* Our voice and our influence are powerful tools to drive change. That's why Salesforce works with lawmakers and regulators around the globe to support policies that positively impact our employees, customers, communities, business, and planet. For example, in the United States, we supported the climate provisions of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 because it included profound clean energy and climate investments that will promote a more sustainable future, reduce pollution, and create jobs — especially in communities that have been historically marginalized. We'll continue using our voices and expertise to lend support to efforts we believe will improve peoples' lives and benefit our stakeholders.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]In order to influence climate change policy, we have assessed our environmental and climate change risks and opportunities and are actively working with other business and civic leaders to ensure that our climate change strategy helps lead the discussion locally and nationally. We also seek strategic partnerships to help shape the discussion on climate impact. Additionally, we continue to use our communication channels to highlight internal achievements that directly impact climate change in the areas that we operate in.
We make our commitment to renewable energy public and we participate as a signatory on the Renewable Energy Buyers' Principles to signal to policymakers and utilities that the business community is attempting to mitigate its carbon impact voluntarily and is seeking better policy to support this work. We work with our Government Affairs and Public Policy group to identify and address any potential conflicts among multiple engagement activities. The Government Affairs and Public Policy group is a global team that also regularly holds meetings with senior leadership to align. The Government Affairs and Public Policy group is also responsible for engaging with policy makers and all policy engagement must be directed through them to ensure alignment. To ensure these efforts are consistent with our overall climate change strategy, we regularly hold sustainability meetings with senior leadership including the CFO and Chief Impact Officer to review and report on progress.
