Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]We have incorporated climate change into the roster of topics we track for federal, state and local regulatory and legislative developments. We also coordinate closely with our Government Relations team to mesh this activity with possible advocacy opportunities, on Paychex's sole behalf or in concert with our various industry coalitions, which would be beneficial for both Paychex and our clients and partners and which are in line with the Company's climate and sustainability priorities. Before any specific advocacy activities are embarked on, we would consult with the ESG Committee senior leadership to ensure alignment with and support of this direction. We will provide periodic updates at scheduled Committee meetings and approach key senior Committee members with ad-hoc requests as needed.
