Apex International has established a clear governance framework for climate-related risks and sustainable development, with a board-level Sustainable Development Committee that “以董事組成之功能性委員會-永續發展委員會做為氣候相關風險與機會及永續發展之監督及治理最高推動單位,” chaired by an Executive Director who is tasked to “擬定永續發展政策” and “推動並監督企業風險管理執行情形,” and the Committee “向董事會報告稽核結果送交審計委員會及董事會覆核.” The company also maintains an integrity code with a whistle-blowing system overseen by independent directors and audit managers. However, we found no evidence of any internal process, policy, or designated individual or committee specifically overseeing or aligning the company’s direct or indirect lobbying activities with its climate or sustainability objectives.
