CTP NV provides extensive disclosures on its ESG oversight structures, including that “the Group Head of ESG reports periodically on the findings of ESG-related risk assessments and internal controls to CTP’s Board of Directors via the Sustainability Committee,” and that “CTP staff are prohibited from making any political contributions on behalf of a CTP Group entity,” but there is no reference to any internal mechanisms, oversight structures, monitoring procedures or accountability measures specifically governing direct or indirect lobbying activities or aligning lobbying with its climate strategy. We found no evidence of a policy to review or monitor lobbying, no description of how trade associations’ positions are managed or aligned, nor any named individual or committee responsible for overseeing lobbying alignment with company goals.
