Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]Samsung Electro-Mechanics is continuously monitoring Korean laws and regulations to match the Korean government's climate change strategy with our company's strategy. To this end, we check the changes through the website of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Legislation every month and share them with the in-house legal team. In addition, we are attending the 'Electrical and Electronic Carbon Neutrality Committee' organized by the Korean government. The committee is composed of companies from the Electrical and Electronic Industries to achieve carbon neutrality in Korea. Samsung Electro-Mechanics has identified climate change-related matters through the committee and proposed mid- to long-term carbon neutrality directions, and accepted climate change opinions from the committee in our strategy.

To this end, we check the changes on the website of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Legislation every month and share them with the in-house legal group. We also reflect our monthly internal reporting and regulatory impact on new regulations. Climate change transition plans and regulatory engagements are managed consistently.
