Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]As a member of UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), PHP supports engagement with policy makers to support a transition to a zero carbon built environment. As an organisation focused on health care real estate, PHP has a particular interest in working with others in our market and with the public sector to help decarbonise health care buildings. Through UKGBC we hope to collaborate with the NHS, in particular, to ensure their net zero carbon standard for new buildings is applied in the primary health care sector (as it currently is not).

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]Our 2022 Responsible Business Report (and previous reports) demonstrate our commitments. We do not engage externally with any parties that could have a negative impact on the climate. Our main external engagement is with the NHS and HSE, with whom we lobby for greater investment in health care infrastructure, in particular for low carbon and sustainable buildings.
