Qorvo discloses that its board-level committee “review and consider the Company’s policies and practices regarding its public policy activities, including political contributions, lobbying and related expenditures,” and it may “hire outside accountants, outside legal counsel and other advisers” to support its oversight. The company also reports that “engagement from executive leadership through our ESG Steering Committee … is quarterly,” with that body “meeting quarterly and reporting to the Board and the Chief Executive Officer” to set ESG priorities and recommend related policies. However, Qorvo clarifies it “does not plan to have [a Paris Agreement] commitment in the next two years,” and we found no evidence of a defined process for aligning or monitoring climate-specific lobbying, no criteria for reviewing its trade associations’ climate positions, and no designated individual responsible for ensuring that its direct or indirect lobbying aligns with its climate commitments.
