Through the ESG Office, Compal selects public associations or non-profit organizations that align with the Paris Agreement and sustainable net-zero goals. These selections are reviewed by the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), who also serves as the highest leader, dedicating resources to participate in various seminars, workshops, and lectures to learn and explore innovative solutions to climate change. Each year, the ESG Office reassesses the consistency of its participation in initiatives or associations with the company's stance on climate change and the Paris Agreement goals. If any inconsistencies are found that cannot be adjusted in the short term, the company will communicate, make recommendations, or adopt an exit mechanism to ensure that the initiatives or associations it participates in align with Compal's actions and values. This mechanism covers all consolidated subsidiaries.
