The Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Committee has discussed global warming countermeasures, including Kyoto City's efforts for the achievement of the CO2 reduction targets, and we have confirmed its consistency with "GY 2030 Long-Term Greenhouse Gas Target†—our CO2 reduction targets.
As a specific effort indicating the consistency of activities by Kyoto City and us, on August 3, 2021, we agreed with Kyoto City's "cooperation for zero emissions spreading from Kyo (today)†—an action toward realizing CO2 net zero by 2050 promoted by Kyoto City. In fiscal 2021, we took specific action following our agreement with Kyoto City, by replacing the purchased power at the Kyoto office (our mother plant) with renewable energy.
