Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]All Lundin Mining employees are regularly trained and familiarized with corporate policies and expectations regarding climate approach, including the Company's the Responsible Mining Policy, RMMS Code of Conduct and other governance mechanisms. Employees must re-familiarize on an annual basis and certify their achievement. Executive teams and Board members have also received specific training on climate change and climate governance, aligned with the Company strategy approach. Additionally, LMC's Sustainability Strategy, completed in 2021 and which articulates the sustainability purpose and overall climate change strategy, is in the process of company-wide implementation and roll-out. This includes training & learning activities to become familiar with LMC's climate strategy, expectations, and goals, alignment and integration with other business areas and the UN SDGs, in addition to establishing technical aspects for management and performance. The Strategy was guided by an executive steering committee and a formal governance structure and developed by a cross-functional working group across operations and core functional areas. Together, a framework was developed to allow the Sustainability Strategy and climate-related components to be embedded throughout the organization and enhance collective awareness of key challenges facing Lundin Mining and the industry, including climate change.
