Aware of the enormity of challenges still ahead of us, in December 2021 we decided to create, within the structures directly reporting to me, the position of ESG director. We have entrusted them with the responsibility for planning and coordinating the implementation of responsible business standards in all three pillars – environmental, social and corporate governance of LPP. [...] In December 2021, the Management Board of LPP established the position of procurement and ESG director. The role's responsibilities comprise planning and coordinating the implementation of responsible business standards in the LPP Group, developing and implementing guidelines in all three ESG pillars: environmental, social and corporate governance. The procurement and ESG Director reports directly to the president of the Management Board of LPP. As regards defining ESG objectives and policies, the Management Board and the procurement and ESG director are provided with substantive support by the ESG Committee composed of, among others, directors of our company's key business units. [...] The president of the Management Board, Marek Piechocki, is charged with setting directions for action and climatic goals, approving projects and initiatives aiming to reduce greenhouse gases emissions and defining the tasks of the ESG department. The president is responsible for the implementation of the company's business strategy, which is closely linked with its sustainable development strategy. [...] The Supervisory Board obtains regular and comprehensive information from the Management Board on the ESG-related activities implemented by the company and can issue an opinion in that regard.
