Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]ILJIN maintains consistency among all environmental, energy, and greenhouse gas (GHG) related issues in conjunction with the company's overall environmental strategic goals. ILJIN's carbon neutrality process describes the company's comprehensive response plan to climate change, GHG reduction targets, and investment processes. The Carbon Neutrality Committee is convened at least once a quarter for periodic monitoring, direction setting, and reporting on climate change issues. CFO makes decisions for non-serious matters, and important matters are reported to the CEO and board of directors. As the head of the environmental and safety organization and the responsible person for GHG and energy systems, the CEO oversees climate change-related matters and makes key decisions. Based on the identified and responsive process for climate change issues mentioned above, ILJIN integrates its corporate vision, internal policies, and regulations to ensure consistency in participation activities and climate change strategies. For external engagements, the Carbon Neutrality Committee discusses major issues and communicates the results to the relevant departments for further progress.
