Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]The engagement with trade bodies stems from the sustainability working groups (financed emissions, revenue opportunities, operational footprint and social and governance working groups) who each report into the Sustainability Committee. The working groups and the Sustainability Committee are responsible for ensuring a consistent approach is taken across the business as well as keeping up-to-date with emerging good practice across the financial services industry. The working groups and the Sustainability Committee contains personnel from across the business to manage the broad scope of climate change and sustainability.

Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your external engagement activities are consistent with your climate commitments and/or climate transition plan?[…]The Sustainability Committee is a dedicated sustainability governance forum with a broad Environmental, Social and Governance ('ESG') perspective and reports to our Executive Committee and the Board. On a regular basis the Sustainability Committee is provided with updates on the Group's key sustainability focus areas as well as any wider industry and regulatory developments and engagements on sustainability and climate related issues. The Group has established a series of working groups which report directly into the Sustainability Committee, and include personnel from across the business. This ensures that the broad scope of climate change related risks are appropriately identified and managed with oversight from the appropriate channels. Through the working groups and sustainability committee there is a centralised governance framework from which the Group's engagement can originate from ensuring a consistent approach.
