Initiative 3 specifically focuses on external engagement.
Our Net Zero plan is overseen by our Director of CR&S and we provide monthly reporting on all parts of the programme to our Climate change steering group, which is chaired by our CFO. This ensure we have the governance and oversight of engagement activities and they are fully aligned to the plan. To drive each part of the plan, we have a leader involved in the delivery and oversight.
Our Group Director CR&S is responsible for setting the overarch sustainability (ESG) strategy, of which Climate change forms a part. Strategy, progress and plans are reported to the board regularly for oversight and input. Through collaboration in the Climate Change Steering Group as well as other sustainability/ESG internal meetings we can ensure consistency of approach but also bring new ideas and innovation through the appropriate channels so that we can continuously improve.
