Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]We are participating in the GX League (an initiative to achieve carbon neutrality in Japan by 2050 led by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), Race to Zero, RE100, Japan Climate Initiative (JCI), Japan Climate Leaders' Partnership (JCLP), TCFD Consortium, and exhibited in COP26 and G20. Consideration for participation in such initiatives is submitted as an agenda item to the Sustainability Management Committee by the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), who is responsible for the tasks for the Group's environmental efforts. Upon the Committee's confirmation that engagement with a particular initiative is coherent with the Group's climate-related strategy, the Group CEO, who serves as the Committee chair, approves the participation. The coherence of engagements and strategies is regularly checked in the Group Management Meeting, which is held twice a month, and by the Sustainability Management Committee.

We have also made a net-zero commitment to SBTi as a pledge to undertake engagement activities consistent with the goals of the Paris Agreement. Consideration for participation in such initiatives is submitted as an agenda item to the Sustainability Management Committee by the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), who is responsible for the tasks for the Group's environmental efforts.
