Through these associations, we do engage with policymakers on issues around climate change.
Together with our management approaches, our internal standards were developed based on a number of key external industry standards and practices, including the expectations of the International Council of Mining & Metals (ICMM), the Mining Association of Canada's Towards Sustainable Mining protocols, guidance from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) Performance Standards, and the World Gold Council.
We have internal processes in place to regularly review our internal standards. This ensures that any conflicts are addressed if and when they arise.
