AME Elite Consortium Bhd outlines a detailed sustainability governance framework, noting that the Board of Directors “Maintains general oversight of the Group’s sustainability strategy and performance,” the Sustainability Steering Committee “reports directly to the Board and meets at least quarterly to ensure key sustainability decisions are made in accordance with the Group’s business strategies and to ensure the availability of adequate resources for the successful implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives,” and the Sustainability Working Group “implements the sustainability strategy and initiatives, performs data gathering, tracks sustainability progress and reports sustainability progress and performance to the SSC.” However, we found no evidence of any governance structures, processes, or designated oversight regarding direct or indirect lobbying activities, nor any policy, review mechanism, or individual or committee tasked with ensuring that the company’s lobbying is aligned with its climate-related or broader policy objectives.
