Tong Yang Industry Co Ltd provides details on its ESG governance, stating that "The Committee was renamed ESG Promotion Committee in 2021" and that "teams in the fields of financial, personnel, environmental safety, sales, R&D and production, procurement and public relations were set up under this Committee to be in charge of coordinating the formulation of the CSR management policies and reviewing the implementation results company-wide." It also highlights its anti-corruption framework with a "Supplier Commitment Letter" requiring major vendors "shall not promise or give a bribe or other improper benefits to our employees." However, we found no evidence of any process that oversees or aligns the company’s direct or indirect lobbying activities, including climate-related lobbying, with no mention of who monitors lobbying, how it is managed or aligned with climate policy, or any engagement with trade associations to ensure consistency with its environmental objectives.
