SoftwareOne outlines a comprehensive ESG structure, stating “All our upcoming and current risks are reviewed by our dedicated Environmental, Social and Governance committees… including those sponsored by our Executive Board members, our ESG Board of Directors Sub-committee and more specialised business leaders,” and reports that its Environmental committee includes “local and regional representatives from multiple areas of the business… to discuss and take appropriate action when new climate requests and emission reporting legislation comes into effect.” It also notes it “continuously seek[s] advice from experts in the sustainability reporting and legislation field” and engages with GRI advisors since 2022, with plans to submit targets to the SBTi in 2024. However, we found no evidence of any governance process detailing oversight, monitoring, or alignment of direct or indirect lobbying activities, nor any identified individual or committee responsible for climate lobbying alignment.
