Describe the process(es) your organization has in place to ensure that your engagement activities are consistent with your overall climate change strategy[…]As it relates to our direct engagement with policy makers, Huntington's Chief Public Affairs Officer meets regularly with the Climate Risk Director and the Environmental Strategy and Sustainability Director and serves on the Climate Risk Working Group and ESG Working Group to ensure the public policy advocacy of the in-house government relations team is aligned at the Federal, State and Local level.
As it relates to indirect engagement through trade associations, the Chief Public Affairs Officer, Climate Risk Director, other members of the Climate Risk team, and the Environmental Strategy and Sustainability Director are the principal representatives of Huntington in this engagement and additionally consult with other internal stakeholders such as the General Counsel's office, Public Affairs, and Controllership, as appropriate.
